Haven't got anywere to live right now, will be looking in oxford itself rather than anywhere close to Holton because the other job will be in the City I guess. Trying to view some places next week. Getting the general impression, North (Jericho/Summertown) nice/expensive, South Cowley (etc) not so nice but more like my kind of prices....I may be wrong though....

Cowley is East rather than South - there's Cowley Road which is , lots of nice pubs, community stuff etc, gettin gmore expensive tho. I live in Blackbird Leys which gets a bad rep but is actually great - I would stick with East Oxford if you're moving here tho. And Daily Info is the best place to start looking.

I was there for 4 years and had a fab time....my bro is still there.

All you need to do is go along to the East Oxford Community Centre to one of the gigs/dj nights and you'll meet all the nice freaks Cool that you have friends there already.

Yep Cowley Rd is the bit where there's the best community feel, diverse and green - and the Green Party is massive there, and many pressure groups are based in Oxford, which is ace.

And you'll be able to walk to work in like 20 mins !
