Offline 17, Thurs 30th June, Dogstar, Brixton FREE

I'm just off to the Dogstar now to sort out some stuff, but I'll see what slots are available. There's definitely the 7pm back room slot available for an "intimate" set and maybe the last set (at 1.30am)

Who's up for it?

DJ SubZero at your service!

(not really, I have no idea how to DJ)
Neither did some of the DJs when I started Offline.

I'm not sure things have changed much either!

;)

Maggot showed me what you're meant to do at the last one. I've somewhat forgotten and one day, I wouldn't mind having a shot... but my music taste is linked to my age and background (ie. crap!).

I humilate myself regularly enough though

things havent changed much with me sub zero..this will be my 3rd time djing at offline tonight and im still making loads of mistakes :p
why don't you give it a go..im sure you'll do fine

Actually, Ive fantasised about playing an ickle set at Offline, right down to what tracks I'd play :o (I like to think I have great taste in music! ), I might get LD Rudeboy to show me one day...or is that a bad idea? :D

And I reckon Orang Utan would be pretty good

What are you gonna play for us Orang?

Not sure - anything from Northern Soul to Electro Pop - need to have a ruumage when I get home - don't get excited though - no-one's said I could play yet!

Not sure if power ballads or balls out techno stompers would go down well, but I'm versatile, so, as I said earlier, I will have a rummage when I get home, though I'm in the mood for playing The Human League and New Order

Can I request 'Mirror Man'? :)

This could be the start of something special...as you know Mr Utan, I'm not entirely adverse to these naughty '80s gems myself. Any chance of 'Heartache Avenue' by the Maisonettes? Or, failing that, the ultimate '80s phat production: 'Give It Up' by KC and the Sunshine Band...?
