Offices being broken into

our offices were burgled years ago and it made the papers. it was a few weeks after

and the burglary was probably a result of it.

I used to work in a bank (1987-2001) and any thefts that took place were generally during office hours...with handguns and sometimes baseball bats

If we entered the place to do the early morning checks and saw something untoward, like we might have been burgled, the instruction was to get the fuck out of dodge and call the cops, just in case they were still there and planning on a hostage/robbery thing.

Came in this morning and the office has been done over. A load of laptops, projectors, phones all gone. The safe ripped off the wall and jimmied - they left the crowbar in it. We are still waiting for the police to turn up, I called them at 7.50 this morning - every other bugger gets to work at home until they come!!

Our office door just recently:

Was a heavy duty door and the police said that they must have used a battering ram of some sort. We could not find a single thing missing apart from some red pens despite plenty of computer equipment and other stuff lying about the place. They also did a neighbouring office (plenty of computer equipment and other stuff lying about the place) and there was nothing taken from there either.
