October -OU Who's starting?

ring them they are very good. starting intro to sciences in febuary messed up my application date. in hindsight a good idea need to get 120 points so I can do a BA ed with QTS.

Nearly finished my essay for TMA01. Shock horror, I have actually enjoyed doing an essay for the first time in my life! Got the second part to do today which is some questions on ethics. Bloody football on all day to distract me though

I remember finishing my first OU TMA01 essay - it was actually the first essay that I had ever done - before doing it I had never even heard of an essay plan - I got massive satisfaction - and self confidence - from that first one :)

I got 92% on my second TMA! :)

Thats amazing !

I had new course books arrive yesterday.

Guidance notes suggest pass 3 and 4 are most common at level 3 and dont be suprised if you fail your 1st tma  What have I let myself in for?

Is that what the notes say?

Yeah, it's a bit harder but not that much harder.

Mmm, sort of,
" majority of tma recieve pass 3 or 4 but lower grades are not uncommon, particularly for early assignments."

As for not being to much harder I hope your right but to be honest its not essay writing I have trouble with but exams.

Thanks, I am only only level 2. The next TMA looks much harder :hmm:

i start my social sciences dd101 on the 30th..

as usual im totally unprepared..

i havent studied in 15 years so im parping it!!!!!!!!!

The I found lowered my level 3 scores was that there was no substitution for some of the courses. Miss out a single TMA and watch your mark plummet :(

They should all allow substitution imo.

I've signed up for a module in maths. I used to be quite decent at maths at school but I haven't done any for 13 years so looking forward to seeing if I can still handle it.
