Wadebridge in the Mist by Roy Reed, on Flickr
Very nice. I think I'd have cropped off the bright branches on the right-hand edge.
Hi Roy, I did wonder about that. Here is one frame earlier:

I opened up my memory card to take a look at those pictures above, turns out that despite looking fine on the camera half of the other photos are to dark to save even tweaking the photos with camera RAW format.
There were deer. It would have been beautiful.
What happened, did you have the wrong settings?
I startled three deer today, first they ran one way, then were spooked, they ran the other way, and then back again. I didn't have anything like a long enough lens but I got this:
I tend to shoot manually so it was like 7am and even with ISO 800 or 1600 and 80-100 speed and f5.6 they've just come out to dark, tweaking them with such a high ISO just turns them to mush.
None of them were that great anyway, I only have a 70-300mm lens so not super close ups or anything.
I startled them then walked parallel with them for a while which was a nice experience.

Hard to imagine that this was in October!
In photos: A cable car trip across Barcelona’s old harbour from Mount Montjuïc to Barcelona Beach
I love a good car park.
