Some of the demands being made (expulsion of Israeli diplomats, calls for the universities to issue statements, etc.) are a bit silly, but this is definately an interesting development.
Many of the demands have been very practical. As I understand it LSE will now offer special scholarships for a number of Palestinian students, send old computers and equipment to universities in Gaza to help replace those destroyed etc. I can't remember if it was in LSE, but somewhere they are now going to have an officially backed day each year to raise money for Medical Aid for Palestine etc
