Anyway, I agree with you. The point is he talks the talk. Tomorrow is when it gets a little harder, let's see how it pans out. I'm hopeful for at least another few hours. Mainly because I'll be asleep.

Yes, yesterday was an auspicious day here in the United Empire of American Consumerism. I voted for the guy, and it's historic and all for us, but truth be told I'm far more interested in taking a look at him a year from now than I am in jumping into all the hoopla and hype. He gives a good speech and a trained wombat would be better than another minute of Bush, but until he actually starts to DO stuff, I am withholding judgement. All the hype right now reminds me a lot of the buzz when Bill Clinton was elected (big change, younger ideas, etc) and look how that turned out. I wish Obama the best, and I hope he does live up to the image, but I'd like him to earn it first.

Great stuff, a good solid down-to Earth opinion without all the manic "Change garn'curm" chanting.

Have to admit tho, catching the news lately I find myself eager to catch footage of the guy doing President stuff.
