I just realised it's actually vaguely appropriate given the theme of tonight's debate is foreign policy.

Presidency goes to the first candidate to reach the refrain?

my friend should be here within the 1/2 hour, I'm told.

Catch y'all on the other side

I'm not sure how much political insight or comment I could add, I'd probably just post more 80s music videos that I hadn't watched.

I'm only watching tonight to find out how McCain combs his hair. That will be one of the questions, right? I mean, it's what the world wants to know. It's what Mickey J was singing about.

Hey don't worry, there's no barrier to participation, hell if you want to sit there and comment on McCain's hair that's fine by us!:D

he he, awesome. There is something quite fun about watching the US Presidential debate on Al Jazeera.

Oh, and: Mecca Time! This is also cool.

Something that would be kind of ironic if Obama became president. He'd also become the Commander in Chief of an army that, in WW1, circulated anti black propaganda, written in french, to french troops, in order to prevent fraternization between french troops and black US troops, possibly leading to the US troops getting ideas about equality, etc.

He'd also become president of a nation that saw a rise in lynching of blacks in 1919, chiefly the lynching of returning black soldiers in uniform.

What a change, eh?:)

WTF? Obama gets straight to the point, McCain goes off on a tangent, wasting time talking about Ted Kennedy and thanking the venue for hosting the event.

Gee, thanks mom for giving birth to me!

Get to the f'ing point when your country's economy is in meltdown!

McCain's voice is trembling. Age and/or nervousness. He looks like a squirrel preparing for winter too. Bless him. Oh, and where's his lips.

And why the fuck can nobody tie a tie in the US?
