Good news. Oasis didn't progress, same formula for the last 2 decades!

Hope Noel does well in his solo career & doesn't believe all the hype and disappear up his arse like Weller.

Reading '96? After Reni and then Squire left, the whole thing was a joke, tbh.

You know... I had completely wiped the post Squire Roses from my memory. Iziz Abraham or some such thing if i remember. Only a few months though, so they did not frag it out too long.

doubt they will be missed the bootleg beatles are still going....is just a way to get out of the rest of the tour, give cd sales a boost and release the best of before reforming in about 5 years when they've spunked all their cash on chang and odd business ventures

They were the best british act of the 90s. Oasis at their best were not fit to be drum roadies for the Roses.

I was absolutley gutted when they (stone roses) split, but it does mean they never got to become boring and plod on long after thier shelf life had passed.

But they released one album in 1990 and then the Second Coming wasn't much cop, they just took too long to make it. Mind you, Begging You is cracking.

Overall I rate Suede or Spiritualised way above the Roses though

Most people do, anyway. I usually say the album is one of my all-time favourites, but the band will only appear on very specific top lists.

Totally agree with this. Think he should have his own radio show or something. The only bits on Russel Brand's show that I used to like were when Noel was on it. Very talented bloke. Good all rounder
