Oasis Split - Official

In what way Kanda? Gen question.

In that I didn't have a fucking clue about class divide. One of my most embarrasing moments was when I had left school, got chucked out for day release in a job shortly after, was at college one day, chatting to a girl I fancied, I asked what her goals were, she said University... I asked her what Uni was, I honestly didn't know... My school was shit, I was shit, I never knew what options were available...

Ta for that Kanda, not being an arse (and i know 100% exactly what you mean), but where's the oasis bit?

It taught me about ambition and dole ques, I tried to sign on once, got told no, no money. I sought other avenues, I had nothing to fall back on. I wasn't well read or anything, never have been.

As a boring old rock'n'roll fart ( 'Stones and my username etc.) I've seen so many bands over many years. I thought that when good live, Oasis were fucking great.
"Noel reforms Inspiral Carpets but hires another roadie shock!"

They were awful awful awful, epitomised everything that's been wrong with British indie/rock over the last 10-15 years.

Result, Noel on his own will be class :)
I agree, if he's still got the desire to make music, I believe his material could be a lot better not weighed down by the Oasis baggage. That said, not really done anything for me after their first two albums.

they did a couple of good songs. But really, they're so over-rated, and full of themselves, it's a relief really. Hurrah!

Hi Han! *waves*

In some ways I resent them as they rode in on the coat tails of the Stone Roses, who were the rightful heir to lead the charge into the latter part of the nineties and had more original material as well. Still I can't deny them the fact that their earlier material was a part of the tapestry of sound that formed the backdrop to my early/mid nineties.
