So to continue the saga of my work, trying every trick in the book to get rid of me. I've just found out they've been using a PI to follow me and get pics of me DJing when I should be working!
Obviously this was a huge waste of public money (I work for local govt) since I am a model employee and wouldn't dream of doing any such thing!

Well had my greivance investigation meeting this morning and the ET1 form will be going in very soon.

Yep, they probably are. But they would have known I know anyway because of certain meetings that have taken place over the last couple of weeks...

Don't you have to wait for the 3-stage greivance procedure to be gone through in it's entirety before putting in a claim to ET ?
So that means you'd have to appeal if not happy with the outcome

And if it's taking longer than 3 months (i.e going past the deadline for getting a claim in to ET), then the deadline is extended by another 3 months ? [N.B there may well be special circs for the 2nd bit depending on whether you're still employed or not, anyone reading this would need to check it out but I know that the deadline is extended].

It would make sense for it to be extendable, otherwise unscrupulous employers could just drag their feet till the deadline was up.
