Having religious and vegetarian/vegan organizations exempt from completely participating in employment laws is not as bad as it sounds.
I could imagine the law on employment becoming more bureaucratic than it already is.
Those groups are to some extent on there own mission(the vegetarian/vegan argument is not just about cruelty, some human reasons for it too..) which I believe the state should not bother with, its embarrassing that we are still tied to the freaking church whenever gay marriage or something hits the news.
People criticize the middle east meanwhile we got the same hypocrisy floating its agenda where it does not need to be.
I can sympathise, I applied for a job with the veggie society and wrote on the form I was vegan. I wasn't lying, I could be a vegan... in working hours. They rejected me and told I wasn't veggie enough although I never let on I'd eaten fried chicken just before the interview!
