Not long to the new season HOW do you think your team will do this term

i dont think wycombe will do too well this time unfortunately oweing to all the trouble and all the terrible losses we've had :(

ive got my fingeres crossed thou

Bristol Rovers to sneak into the play offs against all odds, despite the best attempts of the chairman and his cronies to fuck the club up :)

Wycombe - Don't have a clue - new manager , loads of old players left and a few come in . It's a very different team from last years allready . I'll be happy with a playoff place !

We only have 19 players in our full squad

Wycombes transfers

IN:

OUT: Clint Easton (Gillingham, free), Roger Johnson (Cardiff City, £275,000), Rob Lee (released)

and more have left since that list was made :(

tranmere - poorly. half the team is new, only one goalkeeper reall,y and he's getting on a bit, decent strikeforce tho

Leicester,.. We'll be at the latter end of the play-off places, could win it, probably won't.

Would like to see Leicester back up in the Prem... they're one team other than West Ham whose results I always look out for, mainly cos I went to Uni up there...

Spurs to continue improving on last seasons great improvements.

Pushing for third place and good cup runs (I know, I know "runs" boom boom)

I'd like to see us beat the shit from down the road home and away.

Further excitment/improvement from: Lennon, Carrick, Robinson, Jenas, Tainio & Dawson

Looking forward to seeing: Didier Zokora, Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Hossam Ghaly, Dimitar Berbatov

Finger out Defoe...

It remains to be seen whether our new managerial dream team of Wise and Poyet are going to work their magic or not. Apparently we're being tipped to win the Fourth Division, which is worrying. I give Wise three months before he throws a strop and leaves us in the lurch.

We won't win it anyway.

But you're right about him fucking off.

Looks like we're in the minority- http://www.thisisstfc.co.uk/Extra_Poll.asp?NewVote=True

AFC Dons - if we can sort out our home form we may have a chance of automatic promotion (only the champions go up automatically, the next four playoff for a promotion spot), but Chelmsford City have been spending like a non-league Chelsea. I fear the playoffs & another season of disappointment. A cup run would be nice, getting to the first round proper even better.

With Billy Davis swooped and caught, and his record with PNE quite remarkable, the (not really so) Super Rams will be looking for top six; I'm afraid for all his "we need to build for the future" is pat, we've paid a fair few £ for his notable talent and he needs to deliver. Obviously he did not take PNE up, so promotion per se is not a prerequisite, but with a new local board, the fly-by-night cunts kicked out and a few £ to spend (not a lot, but a bit) and without doubt one of the best managers in the division; if he's honest with himself will be looking for at least 6th place.

Shame the MoN appointment fell through; he was interviewed, wanted a million plus 10% of the club, and with this would guarantee promotion (and I and many others wouldn't disagree with him, so good that he is) but the new board, understandably after all the shenanigans lately at DCFC, decided to retain total control and say thanks but no thanks.

A shame, football is so much about risks, and MoN is the new Clough and would win promotion IMO, but as I said it's understandable given the past with my club: the future looks great, but I tell you, within ten years it will go tits up again, it is our fate; the gypsy curse remains even though the Baseball Ground is no more :)

Wouldn't have it any other way though, I love my club and the romantic failures, and occasional successes.

:( :)

Good luck Davis, dolorous Scot.

I can't really see us finishing 3rd next season, but more likely 4th. Chelsea are miles ahead, Liverpool are gelling nicely and have improved with Bellamy +? now in their squad, the goons on the latter half of the season seem to be able to cope without Viera (unfortunately!) and they also have the added bonus of playing in a new stadium to lift the players (CashBurden Grave), then there's Man Ure, who made their usual late push at the end of the season - although I can really see them fading next season.

My prediction for top 5 in the Premiership (based on current signings)

1. Chel$ea
2. Liverpool
3. Gooner Scum
4. Spurs
5. Man Ure

Bottom 5..

16. Villa
17. Watford
18. Fulham
19. Sheffield Utd
20. Reading
