from the news conference with the north korean coach earlier

2.15pm: The coach is asked about trying to sneak in an extra striker as the third goalkeeper in the squad. "He began as a goalkeeper, so you don't know our system," he tells journalists. "Basically he was a striker but he is very fast and for this World Cup he decided he wanted to be a goalkeeper again." Amazingly there are no laughs in the auditorium

    Lord Camomile Lemonade socialist

According to Wikipedia, he's goal-scoring record is 98 goals in 112 appearances in his domestic league - surely he's not the one register as a 'keeper?! Surely the one you register as a 'keeper is your version of Sven's Theo

nope, he has definitely always been a keeper who just thought he'd have a go up front for the lols

    RaverDrew self-banned for a bit R.I.P.

Fifa should introduce the "monkey rush" rule anyway to liven up this dour tournament.

tbf, given the paucity of reliable information that comes out of north korea, i wouldn't necessarily take that as a decent source!

Lols (not at the punishment meted out to the coach / players, just imagining Jong Il's face after he realised what he'd done half-way through the Portugal game)
