Hardly a fast one.
from the news conference with the north korean coach earlier
2.15pm: The coach is asked about trying to sneak in an extra striker as the third goalkeeper in the squad. "He began as a goalkeeper, so you don't know our system," he tells journalists. "Basically he was a striker but he is very fast and for this World Cup he decided he wanted to be a goalkeeper again." Amazingly there are no laughs in the auditorium
According to Wikipedia, he's goal-scoring record is 98 goals in 112 appearances in his domestic league - surely he's not the one register as a 'keeper?! Surely the one you register as a 'keeper is your version of Sven's Theo
nope, he has definitely always been a keeper who just thought he'd have a go up front for the lols
Fifa should introduce the "monkey rush" rule anyway to liven up this dour tournament.
tbf, given the paucity of reliable information that comes out of north korea, i wouldn't necessarily take that as a decent source!
4 missing apparently
Yup apparently they've defected. lulz.
their manager has been expelled from the party and sent to work on a building site as punishment for north korea's display at the world cup, after kim jong il allowed the 7-0 thrashing of portugal to be shown on state telly after the promising performance against brazil! http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2890...bjected-to-severe-world-cup-2010-post-mortem-
Lols (not at the punishment meted out to the coach / players, just imagining Jong Il's face after he realised what he'd done half-way through the Portugal game)
