Nominations for worst music out there?

Don't get me wrong here- I love cohen and his works. But he writes better than he sings. I'm not pulling down gods, its just true.

As for Dylan, well I saw him speaking his songs last year, and no matter how I felt about his singing, that was not preferable.

Actually, it wasn't his voice that bugged me when I saw him - that was fine. It was his band, the dancing twin backing singers, the incessant spanish guitar.

I'm mostly immune to 'worst' but there is this terrible latin radio station in London on about 104.0FM , you know a bit left of ResonanceFM, which has the worst 'pop' you ever heard, it's trollop.

is that not the cypriot station?

Are you sure it's LGR? There's a Turkish pirate on 104.2 - Bizzim or something thats utterly awful - sometimes really distorted too.

I think I can tolerate or find something positive in most music tbh.

The only zero patience I have is with some of the bland r&b stuff these days which all seem to use bloody vocal effects presumably to hide just how bad the singing really is.

Europop and eurodance stuff is pretty dross.

Although Souljah Boy must rate as the worst thing I think Ive ever had the misfortune to hear.

Here, not the finest poem ever written but it certainly made me catch my breath. There is something of audacious brutality about it. Only his song 'The Future' compares IMHO

Actually yes at the moment you're right, i think it's changed a bit around that frequency, i was sure there was a latin station too some while ago. Anyway whatever broadcasts around there is pretty dire. Interesting fact about the Greek station, when it was raided as a pirate in '85 the police were heard live on air being racist !
