Nominations for worst music out there?

Clownstep or Donk. I mean, c'mon... I listen to breakcore and think those two genres are utter shite

I never liked most of what they insist on calling 'R&B' from the US and it's latest incarnation is especially crap -all these big Us artists are sounding like cheesy Eurohouse all of a sudden, it seems to me.

TBF most dance music is shit- its for people on uppers and they'l drop all that silliness once they growup and stop shoving chemicals up thier noses

*runs away*

Ha! Nicely said!

I nominate trance - I hate it even more than I hate reggae and jazz.

:(:(

Agree on jazz and trance mind and gabba, hardcore, disco., soft rock, cock rock, metal of nearly all kinds, prog..... The list goes on...

jazz is a big genre, innit. covers a good 120 years of music history. to say 'i hate all jazz' is quite a statement.

jazz is the only genre i can think of that doesn't have a distinct ingredient. with reaggae it's the off-beaty thing and the bass lines. if that doesn't get you going you obviously don't like reggae. with house it's the bass drum and the bass lines and whatever else. very distinct. with rock it's the guitars. with folk it's accoustics and a certain style of singing. i could go on and cover pretty much any genre. only with jazz i get stuck. there doesn't seem to be a single thing to make jazz what it is.
i don't actively listen to jazz btw....

Jazz covers everything from Glenn Miller to Bitches Brew or On the Corner era Miles Davis. They sound completely different.

yes i agree. and like i said i don't listen to jazz, probably because i don't like it enough. but than i think of django and miles, and it makes me ask myself:'do i really dislike jazz as such?'

I don't like the music, the 'cool' schtick that goes with it, the 'knowing' attitude of those who are 'into it'. It's a kneejerk reaction I know but as soon as I hear 'jazz' I switch off, metaphorically and literally re the remote....

*cackle* :D

I don't know how I missed this thread at the time. For all the American punk haters - two words: Husker Du. Oh, and two more: Butthole Surfers

I don't understand how anyone could listen to these two bands and still slag off American punk. Want your fucking ears cutting off

believe me, i'm not here to plug jazz or to make you like it....not into it enough myself. just expressing thoughts.
