I wouldn't say all of them were social inadequates. Searchlight was furious with the Guardian for that report it made on the London BNP which highlighted their members in the upper echelons of the business world and in drawing attention to that ballerina who supported them. Unusually for an exasperated Searchlight it refused any part in the campaign to sack the woman. Obviously viewing a horde of uncultured lefties chanting outside the home of the national ballet or inside disrupting a performance, as not the image of anti-fascism it wanted to portray.

That depends what you mean by "oblivious". One will always notice the inherited features of another person, but any rational person should be able to set aside any preconceptions that they might hold about people with certain inherited features. That's just common courtesy.
Then again, you appear to live in a world where people believe that a persons' genetic inheritance predisposes them to liking certain types of music, to carrying out certain types of crime, and their environment doesn't influence them at all, so you probably don't have much understanding about concepts such as courtesy or honesty or honour.

Hrmm you know when you go to Amsterdam or Copenhagen, and you try to learn the language and you think i'm going to mingle here and make friends...I'm going to really enjoy my break from England. And you make friends with some local circle there.
they however have other ideas- apparently they happen to know this english guy and the locals think they'll be doing you a favour by introducing you. You however just groan inwardly- I'm sure even Urbanites have had this feeling. You know you're in probably in for an introduction to some smelly, right-on, self loathing type from london. And you think christ i just don't want this. I thought i was leaving the grimness and the grotty sterility of urban England behind.

Anyway listen i'm thinking how we can get more women. Afterall even class wariors like us need hugs and cuddles and love in life.
To that end I reckon we need to present ourselves on faceparty.
I offer some hints how we can make ourselves more attractive to the opposite sex.
1 don't mention we're on benefit. Fom now on we're "between engagements". Or in fact we're students if anyone asks, investing in our future on professional It courses.
2 we goingt o aspire to own our own homes and be able to offer women the chance of a man on the property ladder.
3 we don't take women back to the squat anymore, nor do we crack open four packs of carlsberg and offer them a can whilst we put the angelic upstarts or Crass on the record player. In fact our new musical tastes are going to be women friendly artists like cyndy lauper and Kate bush and we shan't take women back to a grotty basement club in brixton where we can snort meths and smoke dope- instead we'll show them the bright lights over a cafe latte at some swanky bar in the west end.
4 we don't live in a squat by the way we're staying with friends.
5 we don't abuse each other anymore neither sneer or jeer or threaten or cavil. from now on we're little pleasures to be around, placid, good natured, kind hearted...the sort every man wants to drink with and every woman would be charmed out of the trees by... less urban more urbane.
6 we don't mention beating up BNPers or rampaging through the office of city financiers. From now on we agree that it's wrong immigrants should come to this country and take out what they haven't put in. And we will agree with all women who feel that way too. And instead of beating up city workers we'll aspire to one day become accountancy graduates ourselves.
7 we shall shower every morning. And shampoo is for hair and soap is for the body. It's not enough just to splash ourselves with hot water, or use hair shampoo on the body. And we're going to not leave the house without dowsing ourselves in an array of aftershaves and body deodorants, for that personal appeal and hygenic freshness, that will make us feel better in ourselves.
8 we are going to dump the army surplus gear and combat boots and kit ourselves with the latest fashionably trendy togs, like brand name sweat shirts etc.
9 we're going to take brisk walks each morning and feel happier in ourselves. Only when we're happier in ourselves can we make a woman happy. And a brisk walk in the morning is good for our general levels of depression in general.
10 We're going to try to spend time away from the grotty british inner cities and take regular city breaks in romantic places like Paris and Rome. And we're going to learn European languages and in particular aspire to impress sophisticated continental women.
