I'd have thought that, too, but the counts don't seem to support it. O'Hara went out on the fourth count, then McCann on the sixth. If many of O'Hara's voters had put McCann as their second choice, he would be very likely to have stayed in for at least a few more counts.

Have the IRSP's got offices in Derry now, they were talking about it a few years ago. Thought they were involved with a lot of the leftists groups in that part of the world around water rates U.S. bases Middle Eastern Conflict etc.
