No Country For Old Men - Discussion of it's ending, necessarily containing Spoilers..

Good old IMDB - she's listed 25 after 'victim in car' (though they do claim it's credit order - maybe 'cos she's married to Joel).

I really wished they'd list actors by order of importance for all films on imdb. Really irritates me to scroll through a hundred extras to find out who starred in a film.

I watched 'Love lies bleeding' last night - I couldn't help but think the writer had read No Country for Old Men, then watched True Romance and tried to put the two together... not that good: 3/5.

We went to see this last night - loved it! Came out of the movie saying what the fuck was that ending all about, but been thinking about it ever since. My stupid husband fell asleep towards the end though, so I'm glad you lot have been able to clear up a few things for me! :) FWIW I thought Carla Jean was shot, and Chigurgh got the money, but the best thing for me was the lack of (or minimal) score - I thought it was fantastic to be able to hear what was going on, even though some of the effects were quite clearly exaggereated for dramatic effect. I see there is a Coen brothers box set out - verrrry tempting!

It's kinda the opposite (score-wise) to There Will be Blood, which I found completely over the top - it really intruded into the movie. I felt a bit manipulated by it (which is the point I know).
