I see they've gone for the most predictable token hip hop/dance act in the top 10. Presumably because "West raps about, y'know, real issues maaaan and hasn't raped his Mum like all the rest of them".
Many of the great NME/MM hacks have either moved on to comparatively anodyne column writing in Radio Times, middle-of-the-road radio presentation or left journalism altogether. It's depressing, but I guess you can't live on a drowned island.
