I have been carefully checking for this thread ever since last bookgroup*, and all of a sudden it's all go!

Cheers PieEye for getting my ticket, just booked one more for Kameron (very handy this online booking thing with choice of seat innit).

*Do you realise that this actually clashes with next bookgroup..? We might get accused of sectarianism. :o :D

been agonizing over whether to come to this.. NatC was one of the best bookgroups ever.. both for the book and the afterparty :)

but don't want to desert the BG proper

at moment i am thinking i will go on a different night and on my own probably :( unless anyone else wants to go some time other than thursday?

meeting her in recognition of our lab's scientific achievements (not my own obviously)

and i nearly appeared on LBC this eve talking about some new baby research from the US.

fame and recognition won through the hard work of others :)
 
That was incredible.. really really good!

And I met two women outside who were also cycling home... one of whom needed to cycle to Camberwell but didn't know the way back and so came with me!! :D @ good deed done for the day!

Thanks for suggesting it Eme and thanks for getting the tickets PieEye... I really enjoyed it!
 
Had a really good night, I really haven't been to the theatre enough since I stopped being a concession. I really like the Lyric and the production was fantastic; the imagination that went into the props and costumes was particularly impressive.

Big thank you to eme for suggesting it :)
