Nice Lamborghini Car For $1.8 Million For Sale

Talking of Bugattis, wandering around town the other week and stumbled across a bloke with not one, but two 1928 Type 35s in his garage.

My mouth dropped when I asked if they were real and he said yes.

They might be but you can buy brand new ones and brand new alfas from south america at the moment the classic and vintage car markets is awash with them ... causing no end of problems at race meets too...

Oh lordy, you've done it now, possibly my all-time dream car (along with the F40).

Stunning (maybe without the "GOODYEAR" tyres though)

I'd probably preffer a real one rather than the fiberglass kit version shown there look at the nose it's all wrong...

I have absolutely no doubts that they were real, and not some South American reconstruction. :)

Heh, I actually wondered if anyone would pick up on that and having read urban for a good few years now I would have bet against it - I thought this place was too lefty to have any proper petrolheads on it (Griff excepted!).

You are clearly a man who know his metal Garf, am surprised that Griff didn't pick me up on this pic immediately.

The car pictured in my pic is my cousin's car, it is a replica of course and has been built and based in California before being shipped to the glamarous location of Cardiff about 6 months ago.

It was for sale, but he has decided to keep it and lavish even more money on the thing, (I love the look of these cars but I cannot see the point in spendig thousands on what is essentially a kit car).

My cousi will now try (notice the word try!!) to fit an Merc 55SL engine this thing, will post pics over next 6 months if it actually happens!!

Nah, it could be any picture pulled of of Google. We know what you mean.;)

I think Rod Leach's (sp sorry pissed) place - 'Nostalgia' is the place to go.

He's been selling orignial Cobras as long as I can remember. (1977).

He had the ex Bill Cosby Cobra - COB1 for sale years back.

the problem i have always had with all the kit's is the rear wheel arches are to fat and the front end looks like an ac ace nose rather than the more snub cobra nose....

but even the real ones are essentially kit cars..

I find that offensive

In case anyone is interested, the new Palazzo Hotel here in Las Vegas has a showroom open and is displaying some interesting cars: one costs $1.8 million and has a "Don't Touch" sign on it - I assume that also means step back and don't drool on it either.

Seriously, can you imagine the insurance payments for that car?

I fail to see the point in this thread

There are car shows, flashy showrooms, supercars and rich blokes who buy them. Most people know that. This particular link doesn't really warrant a thread.
