Has Raul broken the world record for the most games played doing nothing yet?

Fantastic result for Northern Ireland

Yes get rid of the useless tawt now! Torres and Villa upfront.

Jesus wept we were shite

Yes, Chorlton, nine counties, I know

It's strange to blame Raul. The blame for Ulster's score
Must surely fall to all the twats in Spain's grotesque back four.

Six Counties all I thought it were
Unless I'm much mistaken
Lest Donegal, Roscommon and Leitrim
Now eating Northern bacon?

In fairness the back 4 weren't the best available and I think Albelda's time has passed as a defensive midfielder. But Raul was awful - no movement, no decent passing.

My partner is from NI. Spoke to her bro on the phone last night .... he was absolutely wrecked and raving about what an amazing performance it was. Steven Davis was a midfield dynamo .... :D

I then saw the highlights on MoTD though .... some of the worst defending by Spain that I've seen at international level.

True - Ramos was horribly out of form and Salgado hasn't been playing enough for Real to be a decent repalcement. Puyol wasn't bad, caught a few times, but pushed up to support the midfield. Pablo was poor, odd decision to play him in a qualifier.

Marchena should have started, Oleguer should have been in the squad and we obviously missed Pernia. Personally, i'd have played Iniesta or Luis Garcia is place of Raul.

On the upside (yes, i'm clutching at straws) we can;t play any worse in defence for the rest of this campaign.

will praise that lot and david healy

ignoring facts and being vague
and not questioning why the captains not a taig

so once again the feeling of deflation
that follows victory for the pseudo-nation

I hope they never win another game
and spend the championships sat at hame

Do you have to drag religion and politics into football? We won, and we won against enormous odds. David Healy and the whole team did great - I think they deserve some praise for last night.

This is Chorlton we are talking about, so the answer to your question, sadly, is yes.

Well, regardless, this is why last night's game was exceptional.

He [Healy] became the first Northern Ireland player to score a hat-trick since Colin Clarke against the Faroe Islands in 1991 and the first at Windsor since George Best against Cyprus in 1971.

It is 22 years since a Northern Ireland team came from behind to win a competitive game when Finland left Windsor on the end of a 2-1 defeat.

Northern Ireland had only beaten Spain once before - that single goal victory in Valencia in 1982 - and the second will live as long in the memory.

excuse me?

sorry - maybe you want to remind me why their captain had to stand down, before you accuse ME of bringing religion into it. It was those adorable litte fans of yours - If you don't want politics in football tell me why NI sing GSTQ before games thus alienating a potential half their fanbase FUCK.THEM and fuck their cunting fans.

That's easy. Because it's the National Anthem. You obviously don't like it, so lump it.

its not that easy why don't scotland sing it? it has after all been decreed that it is their national anthem as well

speaking of which why aren't you 'loyal' any more
