You are aware that each applicant applies to 4 different schools and expects to be rejected from some of them?
Your idea of training 5 times as many doctors is fundamentally stupid and would cost more to the tax payer than the recent pay rise you are moaning about not to mention being a complete waste of time and resources - the NHS does not need a five fold increase in the amount of doctors. I'm wondering if you are actually more concerned about GP pay through envy rather than any real concerns about the extra cost to the tax payer - you seem to have proposed your silly idea of '5 times as many doctors to flood the market' purely out of spite because you can't stand the fact that doctors earn a very good wage. Given the amount spent on the NHS and the increase in expenditure in other areas in recent years it is hardly a major concern yet it has been hitting the papers recently at the same time as the government is being criticised over the amount of money effectively being chucked at the NHS without any payback in terms of increased performance - strange that
