Nfl

it was the offence that got me, cos the 49ers looked pretty good in the last two games, ....

well in the prior game SF49ers played the Lions who have one of the worst teams in the league, if not THE worst.

Is it me, or Roethlisberger needs to lose the cheesebrugers? Yesterday I thought he was the center :D He's still very impressive making the passes, but once the pocket is penetrated he's almost hopeless...

he packed on a few pounds after the motorcycle accident

ftw.

lost again lol

still loads of games left in the conference like, but they seem to be getting worse rather than better :D

I always imagined NFL and Baseball would be good fun to make a day of with your friends cos you could sit and drink beer and talk shit and have the game on in the background, but sitting watching the same game for 6 hours without distractions would get really boring

I like bushleague baseball for this very reason. I go to games with friends just to kick back for a beer and peanuts. I don't even watch the game that much. I like the odd little games they have on the sidelines for the little ones and the potato gun they have to shoot things into the crowd. You can still get a seat for a local game for about the cost of a movie.

lost again lol
The Niners could have won that game this weekend. They were up 26-17 at the end of the third quarter, and they let the Eagles score 23 points(!!!) in the final quarter.

San Francisco had the ball six different times in the fourth quarter. They couldn't manage a single first-down, and they lost the ball to the Eagles three times on two interceptions and one fumble. Absolutely woeful!
the Lions are 0-5 :o
Even worse for the Lions was that this was a close game, and the final 2-point margin was the result of a first-quarter sack in their own end-zone. You know things are going bad when you're beaten due to a safety.

in defense of the lowly Lions they probably would have won had they not had two MAJOR officiating errors against them

well I knew that everyone thought they were shite

but I heard that they were kind of up and coming this season so I thought it was worth an outside bet. but they just seem demoralised.....

Everyone I support sucks :D

I've just had a look at the odds on bluesquare and ladbrokes and the 25-1 that bluesq are offering on both Arizona and Tampa Bay is tempting - esp. Arizona (4-2) who look good and are in an easy division. As usual, ladbrokes are more realistic/mean and only offer 20/1 and 16/1 respectively. Also the 10/1 that bluesq offer on Tennessee - currently the only unbeaten team at 5-0 - will probably shorten after the weekend when surely they will stuff the woeful Chiefs (1-4).

I'd love to be able to recommend the mighty Eagles but the 16/1 (bs) and 14/1 (lad) odds are frankly ridiculous for a team that's only standing at 3-3 AND in the toughest division in the entire league. 30/1 would be more realistic, and I still wouldn't touch them at that. They could easily be 2-4 and only beat the 49ers last weekend because the niners threw it away. Avoid.

I'd still take the Cowboys, despite their QB being injured and the talented but fucking retarded Pacman Jones being suspended indefinately.

I'm just watching the last quarter of 49ers vs Giants

It's pretty close

I really wasted that money, 49ers have no offence

Was the Vikings - Bears as mental as the scoreline suggest? NASN broadcasted Chargers - Bills with Steelers-Bengals when the lights failed, and both were moderately dull matches.

lol @ the Raiders

Raiders 13-10 Jets, 3 seconds to go, the Jets attempt a field goal. The kick hits the post and misses - unfortunately, the Raiders head coach had called a timeout in an attempt to put the kicker off.

He nails the FG on the second attempt to tie the game.

:D:D:D;):D

I'm expecting Mike Nolan, head coach of the 49ers, to be sacked fairly soon, and be replaced by either offensive coordinator Mike Martz, or assistant HC Mike Singletary.

NFL on Sky have just said Nolan has been sacked, and maybe (I wasnt paying attention) that Singletary is his replacement.

well i've completely lost interest

my friend told me the 49ers would be a good outside chance, maybe he works for betfair :hmm:

is there a likeable team that it would be worth supporting for the rest of the season who are not fucking shite?

The Titans are the surprise package of the season. Other than that, the New Orleans Saints, or the Arizona Cardinals, because they're both pretty exciting to watch and have both been utterly shit for most of the last 25 years.

the Lions are the last win less team in the NFL :(:hmm:
