Warner fumbles, Pittsburgh recovers, game over.

But there are flags.

Steelers win.

edit: but its being reviewed again, his arm was going forward
edit 2: an incredibly quick review doesnt overturn the fumble steelers win, best superbowl I have ever seen. surely Holmes for the mvp

More flags, but a fitting end in the Pittsburgh tradition. A blitz of linebackers smothering the QB from all angles. I found myself shouting 'kill him' as they closed in on Warner. I'm still a defence man at heart.

6 superbowls now. Didn't look likely a little while back, but they've built well over the last decade.

First game I've watched in about four years. Was worth it.
Tomorrow I plan to watch Sky Sports News all day as it's the end of the transfer window and I want to see who Citeh buy and sell.

Night all.

Fantastic, wasn't it?

Best game of anything that I've watched for some time. Epic comebacks and tenacity in the style of Nadal vs Federer, only with big hits and added leaping athleticism. Great advert for the game.

Well, the excitement of the last quarter made up for the dullness of the first three. It's sort of satisfying to see Kurt Warner lose, but he's just one asshole, and Steeler fans make up hundreds of thousands of assholes, so it's hard to take consolation in Warner's loss.

Suck it, mhendo. The cynics can sit down. All glory to the mighty Pittsburgh Steelers!!

WOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

:D :D :D :D :D

you think a hundred yard steal is dull?
I was talking about the general level of play. Sure, that was an exciting 15 seconds, but the first three quarters were pretty mediocre.

Unfortunately, as it turned out, that 100-yard runback was the difference in the game. The 30-45 yards the Steelers were gifted on crappy penalties certainly helped. That "late hit" on Roethlisberger was an especially awful call; even well-known Roethlisberger-asslicker John Madden thought it was bad.

A cracking match. For a while, I've thought I'd get the end result right, but the last minutes of play were worth more than any any half-arsed hunch :D

The fatman really played everything he had in that last drive. My hat's off to him, I have to admit.

Yeah. Early TD. Big 100 yard runback and tenacity from the Cardinals.

Great advert apart from Faith Hill, General Petreaus and the Springsteen/Little Stevie bar room shuffle. That half-time show seemed to drag on for more than 12 minutes. I was just gagging for more football.
