thing is my own particular boy will actually be on a airplane and i don't suppose any others will come - even on a promise of airplanes and vodka?!!


Han seems quite up for the airplanes though! :D
 
This is all getting too complicated for me. If someone can just do a summary at some point, please, of where to go when and how much plywood and vodka to bring - it'd be much appreciated.
 
Right I'm going to make an executive decision and go with Good Friday (sorry Zoe :o ) - more of a party atmosphere.... tbh I had wanted to hold off on making a final decision to give Ms T and RubyToogood a chance to see this thread too as Ms T, in particular, has a difficult schedule and misses out sometimes. :(

Anyway.. I can see that some people on here (naming no vodka enthusiast names) are keen to set a date and I know Toggle needs decent warning too.. so - let's go for Good Friday - chez moi.. anyone who doesn't know where that is pm me and I'll let you know. Let's say from 7pm?? Bring the usual array of unusual German biscuits from Lidl/home made cakes and pringles and dips for those coming straight from work... :D

ETA I shall be knitting (well for as long as I'm sober) and vodka making!

I know someone who made an extremely potent mix called Green Dragon which was basically IIRC industrial strength skunk enfused tequila... when you pulled the stopper out of the bottle you could almost see smoke furling its way out... :eek:

cool i will fill the date in my diary (as well as the nu urban tower party).

the question is when is good friday.. it is around the 13 of april isn't it?
 
I might butt in and join yis all if there is going to be knitting too! Have been quiet of late (like when was I last talkative) cos am busy revising (will these exams never be over?) and there's some crap family stuff going down too. Pants to it all - I need some space to knit!

You're going to kill me......but I discovered last night I've bought tickets to see a gig on Good Friday and I can't do saturday either :o :o :(

It's a tough one.. whether to do the Friday evening and have more of a party type thing, or a chilled out thing on the Monday instead.. :confused:

chilled out on monday is better if everyone can be there.
 
Right.. just waiting to hear from PieEye and Ms T - for the moment it's still Friday, but let's move it to Monday if either/both of those two can come on that day! :)

Here I am -- it's a wonder my ears weren't burning down in the wilds of south Italy!! (Now pasta making -- there's an idea.)

I CAN'T do Good Friday, but can do any of the other days.

Right then... shall we make it Monday... Zoe can come... Ms T can come, Toggle will have less probs with her babysitter and PieEye will have a better chance of being able to make it! I've just discovered that it's only INSET on Tuesday anyway, so I can have a few drinkiepoos anyway!

Everyone ok with that??

Shall we say 2pm at mine???
