Newcastle United 2007-2008 thread

Think its cause their kit reminds me of sunderland. Dunno really, just stuff keeps happening that makes me hate them, just let it be. ;)

Saying that, my uncle has brought my kids (boy and girl) Sheff Utd tops in their sizes with numbers on the back (9 and 10) and they wore them at training in County Durham last night without a murmor from anybody else. Of course they both have sunderland kits, and the boy has Ireland and Celtic ones too. He won the main prize at a training event:D which got him the Ireland one.

There is more more Sunderland tops than Newcastle at this club, but a few Milan and juventus tops too (and Man Utd/Chelscum/aresenal) etc.

Must be tough being a sunderland fan though, never gonna have a chance at winning anything so gotta support loads of teams so you can feel like a winner. I bet all other sunderland fans are like that to. :D

Though their definition of a real fan is being able to afford ridiculous ticket prices even though you don't work, and supporting a team just cause its your home team even if you don't really feel any joy from supporting them.

Rumours abound the Chris Mort is leaving his post to go back to being a solicitor. The new bloke appointed a few days ago is supposed to be his successor.I always thought it was a bit weird that Mort was our chairman while being officially employed by Freshfields. It's all a drama innit :)

The powers that are moving me bloody seat at the match , we're getting moved to where the away support used to be and putting the away support where we used to be , i'm a bit gutted coz i had lots of leg space coz i was on the aisle , can't grumble too much like coz its gonna be 50 quid cheaper per season !!
