and your money comment doesn't really matter when we are discussing a club that had an average home gate of over 43,000.

Yeah well done for winning the league when you had millions of pounds gifted to you for your failure last season. So many millions in fcat that it was more than most clubs in the championship took all seaosn in revenue. Hope you are really pleased with yourselves.
Gonna be a bit empty at St.James Sports goods emporium.com,or whatever its called these days, when they ban all those pitch invaders for 3 years!
i know i've been critical of you lot, but fair play for the attendances this season. my only wish is that you'd stayed down a season or two longer, because as patronising as this sounds, i don't really think you (as a club) will learn much from pissing the championship this season, then returning to mediocrity/relegation battles next season.
honestly, as much as you won't believe me, the football league is a lot more fun than the premiership! enjoy the moment, because you won't find much success once you're back in the prem.
I agree , this season has been enjoyable in the championship but thats just been because we've won alot of games and we've seen a good team spirit , as where the last good (or should i say bad) few seasons in the prem where shit ,lost alot of games and players just there for a pay day so no team spirit .
I just hope we can keep this good team spirit thing going on in the prem and build from there .

Lets not forget though alot of away games were fucking tough, and frustrating. God knows what they'll be like in the prem...![]()

that's because we were a lot of teams cup finals - highest attendances etc.. that certainly won't be the case in the premiership.
some of the pitches were shit as well, causing extra frustration.

Lee Camp (Nottingham Forest), Chris Gunter (Nottingham Forest), Fabricio Coloccini (Newcastle), Ashley Williams (Swansea), Jose Enrique (Newcastle), Graham Dorrans (West Brom), Peter Whittingham (Cardiff), Kevin Nolan (Newcastle), Charlie Adam (Blackpool), Andy Carroll (Newcastle), Michael Chopra (Cardiff).

I suppose we have to get used to losing again now![]()
