New winter coat

I do think it's fate, because I never, ever go into Laura Ashley - I just wondered in there out of curiosity, and there it was, waiting for me!

On the subject of winter coats, I haven't had a new one for years, in fact I don't have a winter coat. So, what would be a good style for someone 5ft 9 and about size 22/24?

They have some very nice ones in Debenhams - black, with a split at the back and a kind of cowl/wraparound neck (I can't explain it very well). It's from the Debenhams collection and is £75. There website is on a go slow, otherwise I'd post a picture of it (assuming it's on there). Not sure what size they go up to though.

I am sticking with my black fake fur again this year, I bought it from Wallis in a sale a few years back.It's lovely and warm.

I dunno how but I managed all my winters as a erm grown up without buying a long coat at all. Then two year ago I realised I had to stop being so tight! And got a gorgeous full length black velvet coat.

I hope I have just joined the 'Im a grown up with a long coat'...just purchased a lovely fluffy collared and cuff one from e bay (also my 1st purchase there )...time will tell
