[/SIZE]

is that possible?![]()

i'm certain there's someone more anoraky than roadie. but it ain't me![]()

oh and roadie, that deltic up there in the porterbrook livery, please tell me it's not real!

http://www.therailwaycentre.com/Pages%20Loco/Recognition%20loco/Illus_55.html said:Many Deltic enthusiasts turned their faces away from D9016 when it emerged from Brush Loughborough in 1999 painted in full Porterbrook mauve livery with the Porterbrook name. During the refurbishment work as a partnership by owners Deltic 9000 Ltd and Porterbrook, new Group Standard head, marker and tail light clusters were fitted above each buffer. No. 9016 is seen at Brush. After this picture was taken, when the loco was returned to the main line a serious fire developed in the power unit and by the end of 2001 the loco remained out of service dumped at Crewe.

I quite like the purple Deltic![]()

Timings for 7th February are now up. Here.
The train is booked to arrive at King's Cross at 1347.
So, if people still fancy going along to see it, meet up at St Pancras an hour or so beforehand...?![]()

I'd imagine if you want to actually see it you'll need to be at Kings Cross pretty early, it's gonna be rammed with bobble hats and thermos flasks![]()
roadie'll fit in ok then!

Yep, I'm still planning on going.![]()
I vote for meeting in the Betjeman Arms at 1200ish.
Anyone else in?![]()
