Lol. I wish. Driver rules the radio
new records huh?
they are mega expensive these days, more so than they were just before they disappeared a few years ago. we have three record shops now in cambridge, compared to none 18 months ago, they all sell a good selection of second hand stuff but the new stuff is real pricey.
I brought my dad the latest Pink floyd lp last year and that was around £30! I have seen the new stuff going for anything from £15 - £40 depending on how cool the artist is etc.
I still buy vinyl but mostly second hand stuff from discogs, great site with an amazing market place, you can find pretty much anything on there.

I thought I ordered a greg belson comp of gospel disco too, but it didn't come and when I check my order, it's not listed there either. properly gutted as that's the one I wanted the most and I can't afford to make another order after buying the above
I have an original press of "wish you were here" that also includes a postcard of the album cover. Immaculate condition, any idea what it might be worth. ?
Red and Conscious by Danny Red.
Have been buying quite a few bits on the Conscious sound label.
Have you checked the discogs site? It contains info on releases alongside a market place.

It is in immaculate nick. It was given to me 20 years ago but has never been played. I have some other good bits but won't sell them. My record collection will be passed onto my son eventually.
on the site I mentioned, traders rate the condition of the items using VG+ and so forth.
my dad has an impressive vinyl collection with a lot of records from the 60s/70s, probably a lot of what some people would call classics, Floyd, Stones, Zep etc.... the part that takes the most wear is the sleeves, I guess from being handled over the years whilst the vinyl itself is in pretty good nick.
The best thing about 7" single may be that they fit through the letter box. These dropped to the door mat five minutes ago.
Just playing Metallica's Hardwired for the third time. Great album, much better than Death Magnetic. Can't get the media information for it before ripping it to my MP3
discogs has a thing where it tells you the lowest, highest and median price a record has sold for through discogs now

Many years ago I had hundreds of records stolen by someone I was living with. The first thing I noticed missing were the box sets and in particular my big fat Atlantic R&B set.
Last Friday was my fiftieth birthday and my wife had finally picked up on the twenty five years of subtle hinting
I also went on an ill-advised Discogs spending spree
