True, but from what I've heard on the grapevine a huge amount of their "live" set is coming off a DAT.

In my mind one of the only true live dance acts is Underworld - no setlist, everything is jammed and remixed on the fly, plus they have Karls live vocals. Even Orbital are basically just muting and unmuting pre sequenced parts.

Part Hartnell also has a solo album immenent. "The Ideal Condition".

And it's the most godawful album I've heard in a while.....

Seen Orbital live LOADS and LOADS and they fucking rock...especially seeing them anywhere on NYE and hearing Chime come out of the bell tolls...

A work colleague at the time won 2 tickets from the NME to see Orbital at Mass (IIRC) in Brickstown as part of the Middle of Nowhere tour, and cos I told him the answer to the question, he invited me along. The gig was cancelled when Paul or Phil deleted all the stuff off their pooters (I'm being technical here, bear with me), so we got to go to one of gigs at Brickstown Academy (or whetever the fuck it was called at the time). Awesome stuff. Plaid played too. Double awesome.

Listening to it right now.

Nice bit of nostalgia - the sound on the earlier ones is a bit muddy ( ) but apart from that it's nice to hear 'Chime' / 'Satan' etc again.
