And that's the trouble with a lot of class-struggle Anarchists. It's a harsh, unforgiving philosophy. Predominantly macho. More akin to workplace bullying than working in support of other workers who might not be so blessed with a John Wayne persona. "You are with us or you can fuck off". Someone else said something like this recently.

All anarchists are dickheads, I might as well at least work with dickheads who have roughly similar aims.

We might well all be dickheads but when the going gets tough in the workplace its not only the hardline in-your-face approach that works. Strategies, like people, are complex processes. The John Wayne's of the world might be OK - and indeed useful - in certain situations - but then other - perhaps more considered strategies - might be employed. But you always tell these to fuck off.

I honestly can't think of anything I've posted on here or said in conversation that could be interpretted as "only the hardline in-your-face approach...works".

It's more a matter of not feeling any loyalty to other anarchists just because they call themselves anarchists.
