Bit of excitement over the new Defender, it looks ok, seems to do the all terrain stuff like it needs to, but am I the only one that baulks at that £45k price for the base model, rising to extortionate levels for the petrol versions.

Is it only a SWB 2 door?[eta no there is a 4 door] how will it compete with the Toyota Land Cruiser et al?
