I'd be amazed if any blockbuster had the guts to make the Right Honourable Judge an anti-hero, as per the comics. I expect another Harry Callahan-esque vigilante masturbation fantasy, as per the excretable 1995 movie.

Well, that's why I'd like to see them do the Apocalypse War for the first film. Get the audience all good and riled and wanking over Dredd... then show him nuking five million people. And it's that act which draws the Dark Judges to Earth.

Looking at that list of blonde actresses... Charlize Theron would be a good Anderson. Though she might not be too keen on doing an action movie, having nearly paralysed herself on Aeon Flux.

Well, if the Watchmen movie goes down well, the Judge Dredd producers just might have the nerve to film something along those lines!

The problem with Dredd is that his look as really great to draw in a comic, but looks bloody ridiculous in live action. So they should just get a load of Japanese animators to do an anime film. That would be AMAZING!!!

There was a competition to redesign his uniform in the comics once and some of the results were really good. This is the only way to go otherwise it will look bloody stupid.
