It can't be more difficult than trying to fancy Timothy Dalton. He was crap.

I liked him-the films were shit though. He was abit of a mean bastard.

The most recent Bond had him as a bit more of a hard man, although the dorector Lee Tamahori was taking the piss out of Bond, really.

Worryingly the new film will be grittier and bond will have no gadgets 'Snot Bond without gadgets!!!!

Aaaaaactually it is. Fun fact for ya: the original Ian Fleming novels mentioned nothing of gadgets or special toys and they were only properly introduced as a regular thing in You Only Live Twice or Goldfinger.

The next Bond is an adaption of the first Fleming novel, Casino Royale, and apparently they're trying to be quite close to the original. (They stopped adapting and starting coming up with new stories I think with Tim Dalton.)
