Never seen the Godfather....

Erm.. don't geddit!
Like a lot of art and literature, the Simpsons continually makes reference to past classics. In episodes I've seen recently, by coincidence, there have been gags you won't get if you haven't seen the Godfather or Casablanca, two films mentioned in this thread.

You should definately watch Braveheart and Gladiator as soon as you can.

You're not the first person to suggest that to me. Doubt I ever will though, not unless it's on TV one time and *nothing* else is on. Although with Sky+ that never happens :).

I only saw My Fair Lady this christmas

I don't think I've seen any of those musicals like that that they put on at christmas cos when i was a kid it was war films or you're gay in my house

I haven't seen it's a wonderful life either and I don't want to tbh it looks shit

Citizen Kane, I imagine.

And the best Christmas film is Scrooged.

:)

Thats the puppy. After Peter Griffin told me not to waste my time i decided i wouldnt:D

Yeah Scrooged does totally rock hard core.

I havent seen the one with the rednecks in it either which i am told is a classic. :hmm:

Never seen Rambo or Nightmare on Elm Street, I'm glad to say.
Shells, you HAVE to see Godfather, I'll make you an offer you can't refuse...

It's actually an offer of not getting garrotted by Luca Brasi, but hey, you'd know that if you'd watched one of the most important films in history :p

I know its from the film :p, i have watched enough parodies of it to know that much, i was just hoping to wangle a night of being fed and watered out of someone. Now my plan is ruined.

Casablanca, Godfather, Halloween, Friday 13th, Ben Hur, Citizen Kane, Wuthering Heights (and never will), American Psycho. Fell asleep twice on both showings of Gladiator...

never seen ET, never seen any star wars film from start to end (though prob have seen all of it if you add up all the bits I have seen )

Godfather is a good movie and nay bad trilogy...part 2 being the first sequel to also win an oscar??? am i right:confused:

I thought Gladiator was shit even Ollie Reed didnt help:)

I havent seen close encounters either now i come to think about it. Or any of the dirty Harry films.

God i am really bad at this :D

Gladiator, like all the Matrix films, is ruined by being available on DVD so you can just watch the good bits.
