Considering that said Jumo 004 engines, had a mean time between failure (MBTF) of 10 hours, how many would have reached their target ...?
As for production, at the time, it was a case of "let's make this thing, & hope it stops the enemy"...
Ironically, it would have diverted resources from the Me262, most notably the Jumo 004 engines that would have powered both aircraft...
(The Arado 234 Blitz bomber had to be redesigned to take 4x BMW Jet engines, rather than the 2xJunkers Jumo 004's it originally had, due to the Me 262's higher priority enginewise...).
