Try having a cat that likes to chase your feet when you wriggle them under the duvet, bt when you are properly awale you kick her off the bed, when you are asleep you ignore her.
She has developed a tactic if just lightly stratching her claws on a foot to wake me up, just enough so i move my feet when they are attacked, but not enough that i wake up properly and kick her out of my bedroomuntil I've been attacked for a few mins. Little witch.
In my ex's house, the kitchen door had a bolt right at the top to keep it shut. I always assumed it was to keep the kids out when they were little, until his mum told me it was actually because their terror of a tomcat used to wait till everyone was asleep, slide the door open in the dead of night, creep upstairs, get under people's duvets and then attack their feet with full force.
