Its just a bit of pride in yer roots!
Plus id differentiate the Nationalism of a small country like Wales with no designs on its neighbours-to some countries where Nationalism is a real problem.

Sorry. What's 'online personalities' got to do with real life and nationalism?Firky said:If you knew me you'd not ask that question. However, you find it OK to gauge people by their online (more often than not pseudo) personalities, through quoting specific parts, thus making them look more of cnut, even than they intentionally intended too do. Why?
If you're accusing me of "editing" your words, then you're a lying cunt, plain and simple.Firky said:and you edited my post, which blatantly admited I was trolling you in order to make me look like a cunt. yes?.

I haven't changed, altered, edited or deleted any of your posts in this thread.
so why the agression and insults? And please answer my earlier question as to why you chose to do this?
my bad - I meant you quoted one part, as said earlier! You made a clear accusation:Firky said:Calm down, dear. No need to get offensive, aggresive and hostile yet again. Read above if you need any clariffication of my words: "...quoting specific parts".

Despite there being no triumphant chest beating visible on the graphic (and the alt text only says: "Wales win the Six Nations and clinch the Grand Slam!"), I assume that I am one of the "fucking nationalists" that he has a problem with.
Of course if he knew anything about rugby, he'd know that the passion shown at such events is a fabulous, uplifting, inclusive thing.
In Cardiff, the Welsh fans stood next to the Irish fans and they sang along to each others anthems. There was no booing. Only respect.
And if you haven't heard the Welsh anthem being sung at the Millennium stadium, you haven't lived. It's a beautiful sound.
At the end of the match, all the fans went for a beer together.
Take away that passion and you subtract from the human spirit.
Ever been to a Welsh rugby international, Ninjaboy?

on a serious note, i prefer to think of people as people rather than as a group and when you start dividing people up through artifical concepts like nationality it has a nasty side as well
i know that it isnt a problem on here, but it's another bandwagon for idiots to jump on (burning holiday homes, kicking in english tourists etc) and you have to take the whole package into consideration

England football shirts were worn and there was no self respect.
Now, since the 90's, at least we can stand proud, that's all we want as a small nation , just some respect, not world domination, not sympathy.
The fact that a cool website is run by a Welshman will give many kids heart.
Ninjaboy said:well you are as much a european as welsh citizen since you were born in both territories...
sorry to break it to you
