Nat West Branch Robbed

missus was on jury service, case was bank robbery near brixton, may have been nat west I believe

an interesting story which illuminates some of the things being argued over here

"We" in that context meant "anyone other than you". Obviously.

So let's see your list of morally robbable sites. I am interested as the last person I saw quoted with similar views was Charlie Richardson in Ed Glinert's superb London Compendium.

"we" is plural.

As far the "we" goes can you explain peoples liking for films about robbers. Such as Bonnie and Clyde and Heat?

Do people still rob banks in this day and age?
Let's make it into a sponsored event - maybe we can get away with it if we do it for charity. If we include building societies we must be able to come up with about 6 teams. Each one in a different colour and all go for it on the same day so we all stand an equal chance of getting away with it. Meet up after at the Albert to see who has got the most?

Charlie Richardson also said that working legitimately in the City was more crooked than the crime he had been involved in previously.

" Richardson's autobiography, My Manor, was published in 1992, and he went into legitimate business in the City ( after release from prison) , which he claimed was much more dishonest than anything he had been involved in before."

from his obituary in the Guardian

The point about Charlie Richardson is that he was a psychotic mass-murderer, not a role-model with fascinating observations on society.

Quite.

Thats why he did so well in his later career in the City.

Psychotic mass murderer? Nasty piece of work yes. In the same league as Hitler - historically inaccurate.
