once in...um...andover or guildford...can't remember but the blaggers were supporting ;)
once at shepherd's bush empire

and there was somewhere else too but i can't for the life of me remember where it was....

actually maybe it was just the 7 times - not a lie though, just a bit of confusion, rather like you with them "crowd control" barriers at elephant and castle :p

My nephew supported PWEI at Portsmouth Guildhall he was with the Mild Mannered Janitors.

Could be any of these:

Alabama 3
Siouxsie and the Banshees
Dr and the Medics
Yu (mates band)
Dreadzone
Billy Bragg - cos he was always playing GLC events

the Stones 3 times, once in 64 twice in 65. Dick Gaughan on numourous occasions at various political events in Scotland. Hue and Cry at similar in the eighties.

the best ex's band would have to be senser (although he was only a temp. drummer, helping them out when johnny couldn't play etc.) senser were nang!

They are playing the Underworld on Thursday.

<<ahem>>

Oh well, fuck it. I may as well make myself a beacon for abuse. :o :o :o

Marillion. Probably about seventy times by now.
Followed by Fish solo, perhaps thirty gigs in total.
Then Radiohead, Elbow and Doves about a dozen times each.
Then a load of different acts betwen five and ten times .... Afro-Celts, Asian Dub Foundation, Cara Dillon, Faithless, Garbage, Kid Galahad, Kosheen, Massive Attack, Muse, White Buffalo etc etc.

I used to like Marillion, I haven't seen them live since December 1990 at the T&C.

I saw Carter USM 14 times, Who's The Daddy Now (Carter USM "reformation" in 2001/2) 3 times, Abdoujaparov (Les's band) 8 times and Jim's Super Stereoworld or Jim Bob solo 8 times. So it would be Carter and offshoots then.

I present on a radio station and the girl who did the country & Irish show had seen Dominic Kirwan 174 times up to June 2004. I kid you not, she showed me a list of the dates plus 100+ ticket stubs. This was in around 4 years I think. She was 28.

I've lost count of the number of times I've seen Shihad live. However, I haven't seen them live in almost ten years. God, that makes me feel old.

I did have tickets to see them in 97 at the Garage but I had to go back to my Father's funeral. I heard it was one of their most legendary gigs.

Bloody bad timing.

Also Marillion, prob 30+ times and 2 more coming up in November. Then Tangerine Dream, Hawkwind, Elvis Costello and Billy Bragg, not in any particular order, coming on the rails with 4 times will be Rufus Wainwright come December - most other bands I tend to see once then get a bit bored :)

Probably Blythe Power, but that's because they seemed to be support for every gig I went to for a couple of years.
Intentionally, probably Zion Train (10+) :)
