Name the artist / band you've seen live the most times

The Damned - mate works for them so I see them a lot
UK Subs - same mate plays guitar for them every now and then when Charlie's stuck
Hawkwind - great live band
Killing Joke - been a fan for 25 years or so.

Just realised how much I am living in the past!

we did this before, and my memory's already sketchier even than it was then. but.

bands (not local, mates ones) that i've seen more than 20 times are probably

Flaming Lips
Chumbawamba
Blyth Power
Leatherface
China Drum

more than 15
Shellac
Pop Will Eat Itself
Bill Childish (various incarnations)
Alabama 3
Dreadzone
Top Cats / Ska Cubano

More than 10

Stereolab
Afghan Whigs
Mudhoney
The Mission (never paid for, i promise!)
Van Morrison
The Cardiacs
Broken Family Band
Sparklehorse
Shellac

ah, this is impossible :D

Ive seen Carter USM about 7 times.

Thats with out a doubt the most of any band.

I'd go watch them again if I could too. :D

The Wonder Stuff 11 times
The Cure 10 times
Fields of the Nephilim 10 times

What a crazy mixed up kid I was :)
lol - sounds like my "teen scene"

and sadly Wonderstuff top my list too (I went to more gigs back then) - but still only total 5 times
although Scissor sisters are coming up close behind now - they give good gig, so I make a point of seeing them.

Aside from my mates bands in 6th form, probably the Wildhearts. I haven't been to a gig in years though. I'd like to, I do enjoy them, but I just don't buy any 'band' music any more, I haven't heard any that makes me want to go see the band for a long time.

my ex's band
i would say the same, although which ex (of the three) would be harder to call.
the best ex's band would have to be senser (although he was only a temp. drummer, helping them out when johnny couldn't play etc.) senser were nang!

apart from ex boyfriends bands, i would say faith no more. or monster magnet.

Jef Streatfield? I saw them with him in a couple of times. Not seen Plan A though, like I said it's been a while since I listened to much guitar music.

Yeah. He is lovely. It was quite funny a few years ago some Japanese girl fans had a trip over paid for by their parents cause they loved the Wildhearts so much... I think that was the year they played Shepherds Bush Empire with 3 colours red. The girls were so giggly and excited around him. It was lovely.

:D
