they are pretty cool, but you are right, on the dub side of the tracks.
im glad snares likes dubstep, hopefully he'll start playing some in his sets instead of fucking awful gabba noisecore.
but i saw him a few days ago in belgium, at dour, and no dubstep.
amon tobin, however, has started getting more into it, particularly the breakstep side of things. he plays a wicked dubstep version of 'verbal' in his sets nowadays
HEATHEN!!!!
Snares makes really interesting music, sometimes he is terrible live, but he doesn't have to play dubstep to be good, dammit! He just has to play proper rinsing jungle-gabber instead of feedback and noise

mate, i love snares as much as the next raver, i just dont like listening to noise on a comedown
whenever i have seen him he normally plays half amazing jungle breakcore, then he goes nuts and plays gabba whilst hitting himself in the face. its the boring gabba i hate, not his amazing breakcore, cos no one's breaks come close to his

Good, well I'm glad we cleared that up.
<Sorry, don't know what's gotten in to me today, feeling a bit over-excited about seeing Snares at Glade, maybe>
