well i'm not into them "to be ironic" - it's cos i genuinely like their music. if i was doing it to be ironic why would i have them on my ipod, and listen to them at home and at work, and spend money on going to see them live?

I think girls aloud are all very nice to look at etc. but thats no excuse for their music and general celebrity crapness, so I think they should all be shot. Come the revolution etc...
If we are going to have a celebrity shooting revolution, Girls Aloud would be one of the last on my list to be shot.

My opinion on the wonder that is GA has been voiced many times on here, and I think they are THE pop act of this decade.
Now for me their looks are not the deal-breaker, but why is it that Kimberley is never flaunted as the fit one? I think she's the best looking but always seems to get ignored by the media. I guess she's the quiet one, the George Harrison.

I'd go further and say best British pop act ever apart from David Bowie... but then I don't like The Beatles, The Police, etc.
I'm quite partial to Girls Aloud but it really could be any five bints in skimpy knickers: the songwriting and production are second to none, the lasses themselves are irrelevant (apart from the marketing point of view, but all they are is marketing, including the songwriting and production. Damn, I've hurt my brain now)
