Yeah but it was only a few inches, easier and quicker to do it ourselves. We just went with the standard seating, we're on a budget, and its very comfy, especially with the chaise. We've already started fighting over who gets to sit on that side.![]()

Just ordered a Nabru corner sofa, delivery booked for Thursday. All those in the "sales" like DFS and Harveys look like overpriced tat.
To make it fit where I want I'm thinking an extra wide one seater with only one arm
I'd have a sofabed, but they don't do them with only one arm![]()

I went and sat on loads of DFS and Harveys sofas but couldn't find anything comfortable for £300
Did you go to their workshop and try them? What colour are you getting?

Nope, didn't go and check them so I hope they're good. I'd looked at similar on sofasofa for the last year and these seem very similar but cheaper, quick to deliver and the varied choices in the "build your own" section meant I could fit one exactly into the corner space I have.
Went for the claret Dundee material to avoid red wine stains![]()

Arrived yesterday, and building it was included in the delivery cost.
It's great. Very high quality, good solid construction, much better than the £800 Ikea job which broke after 3 years and I put up with for another 5. Colour and fabric all good and most importantly, its incredibly comfortable. I got the storage system added for £28 which adds large storage space under 3 of the seats.
At a total of £667 with delivery for a large L shape sofa its great value.
so going to switch them around so the other side relaxes a bit more.
I've just ordered 2 x 2 seaters in some trepidation, but I'm halfway up a tower block and have a silly narrow front room door, and an impossible turn into the room. I've ordered sofas before that wouldn't go into the room, and the delivery guys ripped the one 've got now getting through, so Nabru is the obvious solution.
Much happier after reading this, though! - thanks for posting, Ringo.

I've settled on one of these:

It's probably not as comfy or as well made, but it's only 120cm wide and 68cm deep, which is the perfect size for the boat. It's also got a 110cm wide matress, which is nearly a double.
Oh, and it's 140 quid![]()
similar shape to what we had before. Arms not at all comfortable.
I'm guessing that, but if you want a 120cm wide sofa then unfortunately you've got to have very thin arms.

Then it wouldn't fit through the locks.Get a bigger boat![]()

Then it wouldn't fit through the locks.
There's only so much you can do when you live in a 6' wide corridor.![]()

Oooh. I just phoned em up and ordered one.
They're going to deliver it to a friends boat at a marina and I'm somehow going to get it from there to my boat
![]()

why the confused smiley?
What did you get then?
But they need a postcode for the delivery. One of these in a textured red fabric:

I'm confused cos my boat isn't even in the marina and I doubt it will beBut they need a postcode for the delivery.
I know it's not the best looking/comfyest/well made sofa in the world but it's the right size and function. Hopefully the textured fabric will make it look less shit.

They do sofabeds that go on the floor?![]()
Shame, due I guess to space restrictions, you've had to go for the skinny arms. The low wide arms are great as tables![]()

Building included in the delivery cost? Do you mean you actually paid £40 for it to be built as that's what the charge is?
Our cushions are starting to relax now. Might be the weight of my bumso going to switch them around so the other side relaxes a bit more.
Pictures would be nice.
Who made it up for you, Pete the Pole?
Looks like it. I'm sure I remember these being the norm when I was growing up and these fancy arse spring action things being a relatively recent invention.
I didn't pay extra for the build, they said it ws included in the delivery. I was at work but it was by a friendly Polish chap.
Still very pleased, very comfortable.

Yeah, I had one myself, so did b/f, but I didn't realise Nabru did them.
