Ach, World Class Wreckin Cru were actually pretty darn cool, even if their biggest track was possibly a witty take on the Mission Impossible theme. Mission Possible eh, the wags.
They took their Electro seriously I tells you. Same label and producer as the Egyptian Lover iirc and boy did Dr Dre like wittering on about 'Surgery'.
Worth a listen anyhow. Even if it does makes you wonder why there was quite so much fuss over the inflated promotion of them gangsta rapper characters. A different formula worked wonders.

I never really could take the Gangsta schtick from NWA that seriously. After their earlier releases as World Class Wreckin Cru you never could take Yella and Dre's hardcore ghetto persona without a wry smile

sway and tech piss me off as well, i keep thinking i have found a new track from the uk hip hopper and it turns out to be a freestyle off thier radio show.
