Like your landscape section. Very Stephen Shore meets Joe Sternfeld with some obvious classics influencing. Only criticism (and, I'm assuming you like constructive feedback) is that they aren't obviously 'Pie 1'.
You've posted some great stuff here in the past that is both unique and personal in style. Your website looks a bit like you're pandering to market tastes - that is not the way to go IMO.
You've hit my influences on the head - esppecially Stephen Shore. Another great American infulence has always been Richard Misrach - (although some of his more recent work hasn't engaged me as much) More recently I've really rated Simon Norfolk and an exellent Swiss photographer - Jules Spinatsch.
I find the comment that the're not "pie 1' a bit odd as for me they are. The stuff that I've posted on here before has mainly been 'sketch book' stuff that's easily uploaded from my digi compact!
As for the pandering to market tastes - you have a point. But realistically I have to try for a selection of images that will hopefully appeal to AD's from across the board - from Das Magazin to Ad agencies on the look out for a style that they can adapt for their ideas - without alienating one or the other.
As for the food, I don't agree with the 1992 stock comment - seriously, go and find a cook book from that period You'll see what I mean
Although it has to be said that imo, the UK food scene is going through a pretty stale

D ) period at the moment. For mainly ecomomic reasons, experimentation seems to be off the agenda at the moment which is very frustrating and short sighted.
Although the editorial work I've been getting in Switzerland has been very open and the work has been for me, some of the most satisfying for quite a while and I've just been called in about a new project here that I'm pretty excited about creatively.
As ever though, appriciate the comments, Stan.
