Just bought a 40" Sony Bravia for £600 and it's fucking LOVELY. Picture quality pisses on the 26" Phillips LCD we had (720P) in every way - it even looks good on low-res .avis (altho ITV4 and some lower bandwidth Freeview channels can look a bit VHS-stylee!); looks incredible with the PS3 for gaming, haven't got round to playing a BRD yet, but aiming to buy something pretty at the weekend...maybe Planet Earth...

18 years, yes, my mum has not long thrown out a 1989 Panny as well, they don't half last well.

Mine is a mere spring chicken at 7.

nice telly HD program look sharp but all my DVD & DviX look shit.
to make the look better have tryed settings not joy think it much be the DVD/DivX player. Tryed Firmware update still not diff.

Is there some kind of box the upgrade films. Or bets be but a DVD/DivX play
my only a year old.
